let it......

SNOW let it SNOW let it SNOW!!!

don't going running to your front door to check for that beautiful white stuff (to those who live near us).....indeed I'm late in this post and this beauty was gone by the time we got home from church!!! BUT because we rarely see this I HAD to post about it, even if a week late!

Jon and I were like little kids Saturday morning......peering out the window we could barely keep ourselves from waking the girls.....and truth be told we ended up waking emery!!

we savored the morning and decided to skip sabbath school and hit late service

because this snow needed some kid lovin'

so maybe blondie here didn't quite get what to do with it (can't blame her)
but once they got out there a snowman was rolled

snowball fights had

and BIG smiles covered these faces
and then after some time playing 2 little girls trudged back into the house, snow gear strewn all over the steps and puddles of melted snow left at the front door to hop up on the kitchen counter and warm up with some hot cereal and christmas music.
it was a wonderful morning.....we KNEW it wouldn't last long and we took FULL advantage of it!
