is it just me or do some of you with older{ish} kids forget how much a toddler can slow down your days....in only the best ways?!! we recently kept my niece for a couple days & i was happily surprised to have a toddler at my side.....life slowed down! {i am not saying she didn't keep me on my toes, after all she thinks she's easily in her 20's!}
on the way to pick the girls up from school one afternoon we grabbed a loaf of bread
to feed the ducks
simple delight was found for many many minutes
no rushing around in circles
no grumbling kids because we have to HURRY HURRY HURRY to get no where FAST
even stopping for a bite of bread
yep.....if for even just a few minutes our world stopped & it was dreamy
