Kayden was recently invited with a friend to go camping for the weekend & so it was deemed "Emery's special weekend with her parents"! She was elated!! When asked Friday morning what she was looking forward to the most about the day {a daily ritual asked by her daddy} she stated "Kayden going camping so I can have my special weekend"! Then she said "daddy ask me what I'm not looking forward to" to which she replied "Kayden coming home".....I'm sure that was stated with the utmost love for her older sister! I didn't capture pictures of every last thing we did but she smiled a WHOLE BUNCH!
Typically a no no in our home......
{as her sister knocked a tooth partially out when she was little from jumping}
......but sometimes you just have to give in when so much fun is to be had!
We picked up her cousin per request to join in on some Aquarium action
{chow-ing down on some peppers!}
Starting with an up close & personal visit of the Sting Rays
Emery Grae was even able to feed them some shrimp
Moving on to the butterfly garden where she was able to get a butterfly to climb onto her finger
Visiting the penguins.....love those creatures!
AND endless Jellyfish!
Even resting while fish crazily swam by
Stopping for lunch.....
THEN back again.....
for turtle spotting....
stare off's with sting rays.....
races with turtles.....
......& pointing at big fish!
Someone didn't want the day to end.....
So we headed to daddy's work to swing.....
......and be sassy....
......and sweet....
......AND relish a couple more times in the FUN FUN day we had!
Sometimes a one on one weekend with your parents is just what a girl needs!

quinn has his first sleepover next weekend, and i am so excited to just have one babe in the house. so excited in fact that i feel like i need to pay the mother for her time. oh my. x.
