Birthday for 2

Every year on August 23 I get to share my birthday with my best friend & TWIN! Oh the days when we had nothing better to do than to plan a WHOLE ENTIRE DAY around ONLY what we wanted to do!! Even when our kids were younger we still planned our own days & fit them into it!! Today we figure out how to fit us into their schedule.....I LOVE IT BEST THIS WAY!! I am so grateful for where I am today.....even if I am a year older! Life isn't perfect.....if it was I'd be bored!!

My day started with beautiful flowers from my husband......
& sweet cards from my girls.....errr 1 girl & 1 sicret amarir {secret admirer}!!!
 Before leaving the house for a beautiful morning run I was gifted these from legs were instantly in LOVE!!
 After showering I met my twin & Lauren, younger sister & Mackenzie, & my mom for lunch
  Just get it out of the way.....I am mean......but MAN it's funny!

We all went our separate ways for the afternoon & met up again for my oldest nieces basketball game.....followed by pizza!
  & to top the night off our desert was FROYO!
My happiness.....
Money Bags.....gots ta make a request for $$ fun somehow!
Our annual blow out shot!
Love her! I am be able to celebrate my birthday with my best friend & sister.....cheers to another year around the sun!! I can't wait!!
& I am thankful for this crazy bunch of people that I {yes ME ME ME ME ME} gets to call family!! I love them all!!!

Baby Shower Photo Booth

I warned you I'm catching up! This baby shower post is so old the baby we were celebrating below is already 5 weeks old!! This baby's momma is my best friend from high school!! That means we've been friends for a really.long.time. Just being honest even though I am admitting to being old!! We live in different states & so I was excited when I found out she was having a shower in Chattanooga! Her sister & mom put the shower twin & I were asked to put a Photo Booth together.....probably one of the most fun things I've been asked to put together!!
 We tried to keep the props baby related other than wigs, classes, boa's, etc.....
 Heather received this as a gift when she was a child & her mom has safely moved "Sandy" as they have moved to new homes or different states! She still works!!! It was a fun prop for sure!!
 Mustaches, Red Lips, BIG TEETH, & Pacifiers were a must!
 The frame that we refinished during our "Camp Fig Week" {blogged about in an earlier post} came in super handy!
 Can we say multi~tasker?!
 Only a couple "normal" pics were taken here & there.....
 Otherwise the inner silly kid that each of us hold prevailed!!
 Some of you were there but for those of you who weren't I wish I would have taken pictures of everyone.....there was not one picture the same!! Fun shower Heather Ann!! I'm so very excited to watch you grow into a beautiful mother......but don't ever forget to have fun!!

Horse Riding

Several weeks ago Kayden was invited by her best friend to a horse farm for her birthday party....the added bonus was that it was a family affair!! It was one of those crazy busy days.....running from here to there wondering if everything was going to be accomplished kind of days! We were all a bit frazzled as we were in the typical Hughes running late mode! But upon driving down that dusty road back into the farm suddenly we all chilled out.....a laid back family centered night was about to take place in what felt like WAY OUT IN THE was quite magical....everything! From the girls running free squealing to eating a picnic dinner on quilt covered tables to the sun setting to the horses chasing us while mid hay ride to adult conversation to celebrating the beautiful life of a sweet girl.....

 Birthday girl {middle} with her 2 girlfriends Hollyn {left} & Kayden {right}
 Between our 3 families we introduce not a one single boy but 9 GIRLS & I even know their names.....Lainey, Kayden, Hollyn, Lexi, Haily, Emery, Lynley, Milyn, & Hadley! {I didn't say I knew how to spell all names correctly though but I'll pat myself on the back if indeed I got it right!!}
 The lighting was dreamy during the entire hayride!
 The girls were hanging off the back with handfuls of hay while the horses were chasing them!! If ever you heard soooo much giggling & squealing it was during these moments!!
 Dreamy no?!!
 Lexi & her 2 guests got a mini horse riding lesson.....
 While everyone else got a short ride & there were no lacking of smiles
 We welcomed the moon.....errrr the moon welcomed us & we snapped back into the reality of "it's a school night"!
 We quickly said horses & friends!
THANK YOU SHABO'S for an absolutely relaxing magical evening in the midst of the crazy busy lives we live!!
