On our 2nd day we spent the morning at the beach.....yes swimming & playing in the sand but more exploring.....spotting various sized sea urchins in washed up seaweed.....
conch shells which were barely buried in the ocean bed....

Daddy rented a Stand Up Paddle Board {aka SUP} & ventured into the ocean for our 1st time try at
it!
sometimes alone....
sometimes in 3's
sometimes attempting surfing.....sans waves
& sometimes letting mommy paddle!
However it was used it was FUN & our 2 hours went by far too fast! Tammy & I even ventured out to the sandbar....no shark siting thank goodness!
After a quick bite to eat at the house everyone decided they wanted to stay at the house minus this little beach bum! Her parents were happy to take her back for an afternoon of 1 {her} on 2 {parents} time!

More shell finding....
But mostly sitting at the shore soaking in the sun & waves lapping up around us....
We returned in time for some tye-dying & dinner.....
before walking through the back yard to soak in another GORGEOUS sunset! Life is good.....made extra good when reminded often of God's wonders!
