Visit to the pumpkin patch

we take an annual trip to a pumpkin patch.....this year we found a new one and it will probably be a keep for many years. before we new it we had been there for 4 hours....could have stayed longer but needed to head home for the nightly routines of life!

getting to know how a cow feels while in the process of being milked
with machinery
and by hand
smiling just because she was nuzzled up close to her mommy
could have become lost in this gorgeousness......
except for the bee's who kept us at bay
riding very friendly cows
loving and laughing at my sister who dug down to her childhood roots to make her girls happy
climbing tractor tires
enjoying a bumpy wagon ride to pick a pumpkin or 2
busy ants at work
experiencing this (a 1st for me)
and they were fast
jumping...
and bouncing.....
and feeling on top of the world
getting lost in corn.....
and corn fields
it was a day full of kids laughing and squealing and jabbering and running and jumping out in a place where parents weren't having to say "stop that" or "get down" or "be quiet".....the way every kid should be able to spend a sunny fall afternoon!

*how many squirts of milk does it take to fill a gallon of milk?*
(answer to be posted in next blog....and NO help from anyone who came along please!!)
